SafeWave's mission is to assist users while coping with all forms of stress and anxiety. By notifying the user when their heart rate indicates precursors to anxious behaviour, SafeWave encourages them to practice the provided mindful techniques. This project challenged us to research how design can integrate with emerging technologies and envision how these innovative products will revolutionise the way we live, work, and create in the future. When designing SafeWave, we aimed to eliminate the stigma around mental health, while supporting users suffering from anxiety in a discreet, modest way.
